An individual grievance is a complaint that an action by management has violated the rights of an individual as set out in the law or by an unfair practice. Examples of this include: discipline, termination, demotion, favoritism, harassment, discrimination, bullying, intimidation, unpaid or withheld wages or raises, negative consequences from taking a legally protected leave, inadequate training, being forced into other jobs without your consent, being questioned about union activities, etc
